Dear WSF, Thank you so much for the Salsa Bronze-Silver-Gold Syllabus DVD! Laura and Isaac Altman are not only beautiful dancers; but, they are also outstanding teachers as well. Here's some positive feedback on the video: 0. I am so pleased that Laura and Isaac construct each new step with "building block" steps learned earlier in the syllabus. Knowing for example, that the basic Enchufa and Heel/Toe Turn steps are part of so many more advanced steps like Adios and Dedo has dramatically simplified my learning. 1. I generally fast forward to Laura and Isaac dancing the entire step (e.g. Setenta) in order to get a general idea of how it fits together. 2. Then I watch and follow both Isaac and Laura break down the men's and lady's steps respectively. 3. Finally, I practice, practice, and practice - both the men's and lady's steps. I find that I am a more capable leader when I understand and feel what the lady must dance. I have always had a deep respect and love for Latin music; this video has quickly nurtured a new-found passion for Latin dance. Keep up the great work!
